Today I’m going back to my freshman year of college when I made the big purchase of an oh-so-basic navy Longchamp bag. That bag is still in my regular rotation 10+ years later, despite many solid efforts to upgrade and replace it. I haven’t been able to find one with the necessary criteria: big enough for everyday essentials (laptop), long straps to make it easy to lug on the train everyday, and durable enough to last. Then one of my gfs showed up at lunch with a new bag, the “adult Longchamp,” which is actually Annabel Ingall. Now it’s my everyday, go-to bag, shown below (also comes in a smaller version and different colors – gray, black, royal blue, navy, tan, etc.).
But enough on the bag… today’s post was really meant for this poncho, which has quickly become a winter wardrobe staple for me. I love when I find a great deal on a piece like this that is versatile and also good quality (thanks, Old Navy!). I’ll be throwing this over essentially any long-sleeved shirt all season long (love the one below – on sale and comes in lots of colors), dressing it up for work or down for lounging around the house. And these jeans are under $35, super stretchy and basically feel like leggings. Top the outfit off with a fun necklace like this one that I also scored on super sale.
