Putting together Easter baskets is a fun way to get excited about spring. I try not to go overboard – and both this year and last, I compiled a bunch of Toddler Easter gifts that were both practical and used throughout the year. Easter Baskets – Classic Easter baskets with lots of different prints for liners. We’ll be using this for many years to come. Here’s the white version as well.
Pig Stackable Snack Container – This is a themed gift that’s definitely more on the practical side, but will make snacking more fun! We don’t have this one, but regularly use a similar version. The shape is great for a bag or backpack because it doesn’t take up a ton of space and also doesn’t easily get lost because it’s taller than most.
Egg-Shaped Crayons – A great Etsy shop to check out, as they make all sorts of different shaped and seasonal crayons. These will be great because the shape won’t allow them to easily break, plus they’re nice and colorful for an Easter basket.
Wooden Toy Farm Animal Set – Toddlers love any figurine and these can be used on their own, or with any dollhouse or farm. You can’t go wrong with anything from the Hearth & Hand line at Target.
Farm Matching Puzzles – These matching puzzles are affordable and 2-year-olds seem to love them. We have the same set with different animals and this one is perfect for spring.
Paint-Your-Own Wooden Bunnies – I got dinosaur versions of these for my nephew’s birthday and spotted bunnies, Easter eggs and flowers at Target the other day! It’s a simple painting activity for just $5.
Little Blue Truck’s Springtime + Little Blue Truck Farm Sticker Fun – We love any LBT books, and these are seasonal additions to add to the mix.
Wooden Farm Puzzles – This is a great farm-themed 4-pack of Melissa & Doug wooden puzzles that store nicely in the box it comes in (always a win).
Shape + Color Matching Eggs – These always pop up on Amazon, as there seem to be a bunch of different versions of them. A fun Easter toy!
Carrot Puzzle – This was a great early toddler learning toy in our house!
Farm Reusable Stickers – Reusable stickers are always a favorite as well. Not only are they durable, but they also stick to the TV screen on airplanes, making them good for travel.
Water Wow – This set comes with a farm themed Water Wow that I used in an Easter basket last year. We use these all the time! They’re essentially reusable coloring sheets where the color shows up with water, then dries out.
Bunny Pajamas – Seasonal jammies are always a practical addition and these are just $10!
