Spring is officially here and that means wedding season is riiiight around the corner. Every year I think we’re almost done with weddings and this year we have 7! No complaints here though – I love a reason to get dressed up and celebrate with friends and family. I’ve been seeing so many cute dresses online, so today I’m sharing four different wedding dresses for guests {too cold to try them on right now, so flat lays will have to do!}.
Any of these dresses would also work well for bridal or baby showers, rehearsal dinners, etc. Just swap out the shoes and accessories if you need to dress them up or down. Shop the looks using the links or images below each look!
1. Lace Midi Dress
Last year I was on the hunt for a less expensive version of the popular Self Portrait lace midi dress that was popping up all over Instagram, but anytime I found one that fit my budget and was still good quality, it would sell out in minutes. I actually love this one even more and it’s only $89. The colors it comes in are great too: black if you want something that can be worn for lots of occasions, periwinkle for a spring or summer event, or white that would be perfect for a bride or bride-to-be.

2. Laser Cut Scalloped Dress:
This dress is definitely my favorite right now. I’d say it’s right up there with my yellow floral dress when it comes to versatility and it’s ability to be dresses up and down for any occasion. It’s admittedly much prettier in person – the laser cut detailing and fabric make it look like it costs much more than it does! I went with simple nude shoes and accessories here, but you could easily add color (I love bright pink or yellow paired with navy). Plus I love the fit – it’s nice and flowy but not so much that it makes you look like you have no figure. This would also be great for bridal or baby showers!

3. Crushed Velvet Dress:
Can we go back to 90s style? Crushed velvet, chokers and Adidas shell toe sneaks may be as close as I get, but I’ll take it. There are so many options at different price points, and since it’s more of a trendy piece, I went on the lower end. What I love most about crushed velvet – especially when it’s in this dress style – is how soft and comfortable it is!

4. Fun Floral Dress:
This exact dress is from last year, but the idea behind it still applies. Go for a dress with contrasting bright or bold colors in the floral print. Then you can have fun with accessorizing, whether it’s your shoes, bag or jewelry. In this case I went neutral with the shoes and played up two of the colors in the dress with the earrings and clutch. I personally loved this A-line style that I scored at Target, but any cut that works for you will do! And these tassel earrings are so fun and under $13!
