I grew up on the Seacoast of New Hampshire and love getting back up there, especially when it involves visiting family or friends. My mom is in the process of moving into her new house that’s just a street over from the beach and a few weeks ago we spent the day walking around and exploring the town. I’m pretty jealous she gets to take in this view daily! It was the perfect scene for taking some pics along the way, as we both love a good opportunity to play around with our cameras.
I scored this dress during the Nordstrom #Nsale and while it sold out quickly, it was finally restocked and is still under $50! I sized up because the material doesn’t have much stretch and the dress can be adjusted with the tie straps. It’s super versatile – I’ve worn it out to dinner {shown below}, to work and to a bridal shower, swapping out shoes and accessories to dress it up or down. Just throw a jean jacket, chambray shirt or sweater over it, add some booties and it’ll transition right into fall.

They come in dark saddle, black and yellow, and while I had a hard time deciding between the two neutral shades, I’m happy I went with dark saddle {shown below} because they really go with everything.
I know the weather is cooling down, but hope everyone gets outside during the long weekend and gets to enjoy quality time with family and friends. And if that hurricane rains on the weekend, catch up on some Netflix or shop the summer sales and new fall items. As much as I love summer, I’m getting excited for booties, jeans and flannel weather!
