Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Valentine’s Day is almost here, and whether you’ll be celebrating with your significant other or friends, I wanted to share some gift ideas, all of which I would love to receive myself. Read on and let me know what you’re wishing for this Valentine’s Day!

Valentine's Day Gifts

Gift sets with both jewels and makeup…

Two of my favorite brands – BaubleBar and Benefit Cosmetics – have teamed up for three Valentine’s Day gift sets. I love the Sparkle, Shine & All Things Fine set, which comes with two pairs of statement earrings, highlighter and lip & cheek stain. The Love, Luck & Long Lashes set has two stud bracelets and the popular they’re real mascara, and the Real Romance and a Rosy Future set includes an XO necklace, mascara and lip & cheek stain. {baublebar.com, $34}

Not-to-traditional chocolates…

Chocolates may be a traditional Valentine’s Day gift, but you can take it to the next level with these Dark Chocolate Hearts from Kohler Chocolates. They’re filled with a soft, raspberry ganache center that has hints of champagne and cognac notes, which is delicious with the dark chocolate. And they’re extra festive because they look like shiny red hearts. {kohlerchocolates.com, $9.99-$59.99 depending on size}

Pretty-in-pink flats for any occasion…

I’ve said it before, but I’m so picky when it comes to flats. I used to wear so many different pairs every day of the week, but now I stick to brands with high-quality flats that are comfortable and last. Tieks flats are made with Italian leather and they fold right up and fit in your bag so you can carry them along for any occasion. Plus they come in so many great colors, like this Fuschia, which is perfect for Valentine’s Day and into spring. {tieks.com, $175}

Fancy yet wearable lingerie…

Lingerie is pretty and all, but it’s even better when you can find something nice that’s also comfortable. Hanky Panky’s Candy Hearts Bralette and Thong are just that. They’re both made with the brand’s signature stretch lace and work for both special occasions and everyday. {hankypanky.com, $44 bralette, $26 thong}

Jewelry that makes a statement…

I always feel more put together when I have statement jewelry on, and I usually go with either fun earrings or a necklace. I’ve always loved Sole Society‘s shoes, and I was excited to try out some of their jewelry too. The Crystal Cluster Statement Necklace goes with practically everything in my closet, so it will be getting lots of use. And the Deco Drop Crystal Earrings will instantly dress up an otherwise casual outfit or can be worn with a dress for a special occasion. {solesociety.com, $34.95 necklace, $29.95 earrings}

A sweatshirt that can be dressed up or down…

I love that crewneck sweatshirts are back in style, especially because they’re now available in fun colors, fabrics and patterns. I especially love them because they can be dressed up with a statement necklace or dressed down with yoga pants and flats or sneakers. This L.L.Bean UltraSoft Crewneck in dark orchid heather has a more flattering, feminine look than traditional sweatshirts and it’s nice and cozy. {llbean.com, $39.95}

A pouch to keep things organized with…

Big bags are my favorite, but it’s easy for things inside to get a little disorganized, making it hard to find anything. That’s why I love Hayden Reis’ Sea Clear Pouch. You can store your essentials in there – money, lip gloss, etc. – and then throw it in whatever bag you’re using that day. It’s especially good for the beach because it’s water-resistant. {haydenreis.com, $28}

Red and pink beauty products to get dolled up with…

A nice mani-pedi is a must for Valentine’s Day, and I’m loving SpaRitual’s Authentically (red matte shimmer), Dynamics (dusty pink creme) and Fall in Love (mauve red shimmer), along with Sally Hansen‘s new, limited-edition Patent Gloss Nail Color in Moto (red).  And I’m all about lip color lately, so you can finish off your beauty look with the new NYC New Work Expert Last Lip Lacquer, available in lots of different red and pink shades. It has the color of a lipstick and the shine of a gloss, and keeps your lips hydrated with color that stays put.  {sparitual.com, $12 each; sallyhansen.com, $5.99; newyorkcolor.com, $3.99}

Spa-like products to relax with…

I’ve always loved SpaRitual for their nail polishes, but they also have other great products, including candles, massage creams and body oils. As someone who is candle obsessed, I’m always buying new scents to try around the house. The Look Inside Candle is made with pure essentials oils and plant essences and the smell is instantly relaxing. And then both the Close Your Eyes Body Oil and Massage Cream are great for at-home massages. I also like to use body oil in the shower for extra hydration. {sparitual.com, $35 each}
