One of the many benefits of having a girl is getting to dress them up. My mom claims I got to a certain age and refused to wear dresses, so I’m going to take what I can get now and hope it lasts. Now that Sofia is walking, dresses are more practical and I can’t wait to put her in them as soon as the weather is warm enough.
Taking dress-wearing to the next level, I also want her to be my mini-me. There are so many cute mommy and me outfits for spring and summer and I love how certain stores are making it easy to find matching family outfits (here are links to Gap, Old Navy and Lilly Pulitzer for example). You can also create easy mommy and me outfits by taking a common print or pattern like seersucker and finding pieces from different stores.
Here are a few mommy and me outfits I’m eyeing for spring and summer – lots of styles and prints to choose from! I stuck with women’s, toddler and baby based on Sofia’s size (she’ll be 18 months at the end of June), but there are also options for older kids. I also couldn’t fit them all in one collage, so scroll down to the links!
