Rabbit, Rabbit! Happy February – my birthday month is officially here and so are the last 9 days of my 20’s. To kick off the month, I’m starting a new series: Favorite Finds. This is where I’ll share random items that I’m eyeing or recently purchased so you can check them out too. Up this week: winter boots, cozy sweaters/sweatshirts, ruffled tops and everyday sneakers. 1. Winter Boots: I have my heavy duty Sorel boots that I got last year, which I love, but are really for snowstorms (which we thankfully haven’t really had any of this winter yet). I’m going back and forth between Sperry and Bean Boots, so I might have to order both and see which I like better. Any tips on which Bean Boots are the best for New England winters are much appreciated!
2. Cozy Sweaters & Sweatshirts: Tis the season for all things cozy and warm… I love a big chunky cardigan paired with a simple t-shirt, or a sweatshirt that looks presentable enough to wear to work or out for drinks. There are so many available right now at all sorts of stores!
3. Ruffled Tops: I love this trend! To keep it simple, you can go with a ruffle at the bottom of your shirt for almost an oversized peplum look (peplum just never looked good on me, but this works!). And then to take it a step further, try ruffles that go across a sweater or on the end of sleeves.
4. Everyday Sneakers: Athleisure is thankfully here to stay, because sneakers have become my go-to on the weekends and even some days at the office, depending on which style they are. I love the sneakers below because they’re good for both getting some exercise and wearing to lunch or errands. They pretty much work for anything!
